Description: IgM antibody.  

MoAb Isotype: IgG1 for MAbs 2A6, 1F4, CH2 and M11 IgG2b for MAbs and MA2  

Clones Offered: 2A6, 2B9, 1F4, CH2, MA2, New MAb: M11 Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with IgM from human serum.  

Specificity: Mu-chain of human IgM MAbs 2A6 and CH2 - Fc -region localized epitope MAbs 2B9 and MA2 - Fab - region localized epitope Specific antibody titer is 5 x 10-7 by indirect ELISA.  

Applications: Detection of IgM antibodies and total IgM. MAb 2A6 can be used as labeled reagent for IgM or mu-chains detection by means of immunoblotting. MAb 2A6 can be used for passive haemagglutination. MAb 2B9 can be used as labeled reagent for specific IgM antibodies detection. MAb 2B9 can be used also as capture and labeled antibody simultaneously for total IgM level determination by means of ELISA. MAb 1F4 is working in Western blotting.  

Purity: MAb M11 by chromatography on protein G Sepharose. All other MAbs by chromatography on protein A Sepharose.  

Presentation: PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
