MoAb Isotype: IgG1 for MAbs CCI-10 and CCI-17 IgG2b for MAb CCI-3  

Clones Offered: CCI-3, CCI-10, CCI-17 Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with fragment of rat proinsulin conjugated with a carrier protein.  

Specificity: Rat proinsulin  

Applications: All MAbs recognize rat proinsulin in ELISA and Sandwich type immunoassay. MAbs bind specifically to proinsulin and do not bind to insulin or C-peptide. For sandwich immunoassay it is recommended to use MAbs in pairs with MAbs specific to N-terminal part of C-peptides I and II (see also the data sheet for Cat.# 2I3 and "Rat C-peptide and proinsulin" Newsletter for more information). The most sensitive pairs recommended for sandwich-type rat proinsulin immunoassays are (coating-conjugate): Rat proinsulin I and II immunodetection: CCI-17 - CII-55 (Cat.# 2I3) CCI-17 - CII-97 (Cat.# 2I3) Rat proinsulin I immunodetection: CCI-17 - CI-0 (Cat.# 2I3) CCI-17 - 6H1 (Cat.# 2I3)
